KITCHEN

ORESHKI OR MUSHROOM COKIES DOUGH PREPARATION     

 

Ingredients:

2 ½ cups of flour (best to use Canadian flour)

1 cup of powdered sugar

1 stick (113g) of softened butter

1 stick (113g) of softened margarine

3 egg yolks

1 TBSP of mayonnaise

1 TSP of baking soda

1TBSP of vinegar

                   

Directions:      

  1. Separate the egg yolks
  2. Stir sugar, vanilla and egg yolks
  3. Mix the margarine and the flour and knead thoroughly
  4. Beat the baking soda with the egg white until stiff          
  5. Add the sugar and egg mixture to the dough and continue kneading
  6. Add the stiff egg white
  7. Prepared dough place into refrigerator for 30-60 minutes
  8. Use the 2 TSP measurement to measure and make the rolls from the dough
  9. Place the prepared rolls into the mold at the same time to avoid a differences in the cookies color
